So we did a commerical for Microsoft a few weeks back, thanks to Marty Martin, the creative director of the music video campaign for Windows 7. Marty is also the Director behind one of our upcoming music videos, “Supernova.” The man is absolute genius. He and I have a common denominator in all that we do: excellence!
Microsoft had originally chosen another group to represent the Hip Hop segment of the Windows 7 campaign (until The Moment). Long story short…we got the 45 second spot for their college promotional commercials!
The making of this campaign commercial was a journey! I learned more about the importance of communication amidst extreme chaos. Keith Rivers and Marty Martin were beasts in the creative process of this production. They have been working sleepless nights for a week straight to launch the commercial this Tuesday.
We filmed at a series of locations including a college frat house! Ummmmm…Just watch the Making Of and see for yourself! Even the maggots were coming out of the woodwork to be part of “The Moment”, literally!
The song for the commercial represents a visionary mentality that can be harevested when we witness obstacles that oppose our goals. Warning! This song will not get out of your head! Be inspired to stay the course and continue the race because it isn’t where you finish, but how you finish that makes you victorious!
